This is a great job for anyone who loves working with cattle. It is mainly responsible for the daily oversight, handling, care and feeding of cattle as part of the Mershon Cattle team. Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ experience working with beef cattle on a ranch or farm, including calving, sorting, tagging, and handling large groups of cows and calves.

Understanding of cattle nutrition, health and care to ensure that cattle are raised in a high-quality environment.

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED

Ability to operate large farm machinery including tractors and drive trailers

Regularly lift 80 lbs. or greater

Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required; CDL preferred but not required

Pass a background check and drug test.

Willingness to work as part of a team on a variety of farm jobs (Many opportunities exist for working independently as knowledge base grows)
